HICKSVILLE, Ohio—Nemco Food Equipment, a foodservice industry leader in countertop solutions, has launched a new line of front- and back-of-the-house food dispensing systems ‘powered’ by a partnership with Sweden-based Asept International.

Along with a family of 1.5-gallon, self-serve-style countertop dispensers, in either a durable, lightweight plastic or sleek stainless steel, the new line will introduce a number of condiment- and sauce-dispensing solutions the North American market has never seen.

Most notably, Nemco’s handheld models, including a multi-dress unit that dispenses two condiments simultaneously, present busy commercial kitchens with more labor-efficient, portion-precise, no-mess alternatives to squeeze bottles.

In another first, Nemco’s back-of-the-house topping pumps, originally designed for seeds-and-all strawberry topping, give operators a fast, portion-control dispensing solution that can handle a more diverse range of condiments and sauces, including those with particulates.

Still other new innovations include an in-counter dispenser system that houses and evacuates—mechanically, without the expense of CO2 —condiment pouches stored under the counter and out of sight, for a more streamlined self-serve station

Finally, the high-volume Press-O-Matic uses a standard 1.5-gallon pouch or a three-gallon BIB to quickly fill back-of-house squeeze bottles and ramekins.

All Nemco powered by Asept dispensers feature a sealed-system design to preserve the contents’ flavor and freshness and maximize its shelf life, while the pumping system delivers consistent, no-drip dispensing, accurate portion control and a 95- to 98-percent product yield.

Pumps are compatible with the pouched-condiment industry’s standard 16-millimeter fitment, with adapters that can connect to other sizes. Every unit is easy to load, extremely user-friendly and easy to disassemble for cleaning.
